Skylight fell to her knees and just stared at the bodies of her parents, a gut wrenching sob escaping her lips as her hands began to shake as she tried to take in the sight. Her mother’s head? Gone, ripped off. Her father was even worse, his legs, several feet away as his throat as it was slit open, to make sure he bled out nice and slow.
“D-Daddy…” She whimpered, pleading as she wanted him to open his optics and to look at her but there was no reply or even the faintness of twitches and her servos clenched onto his arm as everything rushed through her and she threw back her helm and let out a pained wail of grief. She didn’t know how long it escaped her before she threw herself over her father’s chestplate and sobbed, not even caring that she was covering herself in his energon as all she could take in was his cold frame, his essence cold and slick even as fires ravaged her home around them. She couldn’t take it.
Why would someone kill them? The war was over, this was a neutral town! It was repeated over and over in her helm as she sobbed and sobbed, letting the tears escape as she couldn’t even process the mere idea of her mother was a few feet away without a head. It was… it was just too much for her to handle. Her spark to sweet and kind to understand that someone would murder everyone she knew and loved because it appeased them. It was too much to understand….
Suddenly, she felt a presence and she knew it was watching her. She buried her faceplate deeper into the cold chestplate before she began to shake as she slowly pulled away and craned her helm up. Daunt. Her optics widened as she took in the dripping sword, his energon covered frame, and his mask, the mask representing a sick twisted evil grin as she knew the faceplate that was staring back through it.
“No…” She rasped, tears blinding her sight before she quickly blinked them away to stare at the mech she had grown to adore and possibly love as she realized who murdered her parents and everyone she loved. Daunt did it. Her spark shattered and her tears thickened as she sobbed pitifully as they didn’t make a move towards each other, the shock of each other almost too much to bear for them both.
Minutes ticked by as her optics never wavered from his faceplate as her own throat seemed to strangle her as she opened her lips, and spoke, broken. ”You’re a MONSTER.”
